Swing and Lindy Hop

Lindy Hop is the original swing dance that grew out of Harlem, NY and was all the rage during the Big Band era of the 30s & 40s when people danced together. The music was hot, the moves were wild, and the dance-halls were packed full every night. Lindy Hop is a dynamic partner dance that anyone can do, and is fun for everyone. No Partner is necessary to participate in any of the Swing classes.

Details on Levels:
Level 1 - For absolute beginners. No dance experience of any kind is necessary.

Level 2 - For dancers that are comfortable with the Swing out and charleston and their basic variations.

Level 3 - For dancers still getting used to the social dance floor and lead-and-follow techniques this class will give you the confidence and steps to take you to the next level.

Level 4 - For dancers who are comfortable on the social dance floor this class will add fun new things to your repertoire and continue to improve your technique.

Tap

Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelley, Judy Garland - these are some of the people who inspire us all to tap our toes, and glide across a dance floor with style. Come and have some fun learning how to tap your toes and click your heels!

Details on Levels:
Level 1 - For absolute beginners. No dance experience of any kind is necessary.

Level 2 - For tappers with some previous experience who are comfortable with the basic vocabulary.

Level 3 - For tappers looking for more of a challenge, this class will offer the experienced tapper the opportunity to push themselves further
